As many of you already know, last fall an overwhelming majority of faculty voted to make the switch to Canvas, our new Learning Management System (LMS) replacing ANGEL. This summer there will be a small pilot group of 30 instructors using Canvas. Canvas will be open to all instructors who would like to start teaching their fall courses on the new system. By the spring of 2015, ANGEL will be gone and all courses will be taught in Canvas.

Check out the links below to see what Canvas is all about!

Are you ready to make the switch?
We are putting the finishing touches on the EFSC Online Canvas Instructor Training (CIT). Our target for completion is mid-to-late April. Look out for the advertisement around that time in the News You Can Use to register. Once you have completed your training you will be Canvas certified and courses can be generated for the fall term.

In the meantime, you can start now by preparing your ANGEL courses for the migration. This handout goes over some steps you can take to get your ANGEL courses ready for a smooth switch to Canvas.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask your EFSC Academic Technology Team!
